To be successful in this role you will; Be a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine APP (NP/PA) with a passion for high-impact practice and a desire for meaningful patient connections over bureaucratic frustrations. Essential Areas of Responsibility Provide care to patients of all ages
- children to geriatrics Emergency Room consults, triage and medical care Round, admit and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and co-morbid disease conditions Manages all inpatient care and provides prompt attention to all patients admitted to the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and the performance of medical procedures (within your scope of practice) Collaborate and coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing, health care personnel, and care team members for patients in the hospital and ER Employing quality and process improvement practices to make the hospital a safer place and improve patient outcomes Ten (10) shifts per month is full-time.
- will have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Masters or Doctorate program
- will have Emergency Room or Inpatient experience of 1 year or more, required
- board certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Hospital Medicine
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or CALS certified
- will have the qualification to successfully obtain an unrestricted state license and DEA
- interested in a shift-based condensed work schedule [Ten 24-hr shifts is full-time]
- have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- demonstrate the ability to work independently
