Job Description

Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice Clinic LifeCare Family Medicine of Bellevue Family Practice Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented, patient friendly Certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in our LaVista, NE location. This position is full-time or part-time with competitive pay and benefit package.
  • Work days are Monday thru Friday, and hours vary depending upon schedule/patient load.
  • Must have graduated from a physician assistant or nurse practitioners program by Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or Nurse Practitioners (APRN) or its predecessors.
  • Must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners.
  • Must have current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
Duties include:
Assists physician in diagnosis of patients by: Obtaining complete medical history data from patients. Performing physical examinations to obtain physical data. Organizes and presents historical and physical data, together with evaluations and recommendations, to physician in such way as to permit him/her to visualize medical problem and determine appropriate diagnosis. Provides follow-up and health maintenance care to patients in accordance with protocols established by physician. Instructs and counsels patients with respect to such subjects as diagnostic testing results, weight loss and wellness, exercise, etc. Maintains complete and accurate records of contacts with patients whether in person or by telephone. Performs other duties as assigned.
