You will use your clinical judgment and emergency medicine experience to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions. Competitive Compensation and Benefits [Add salary range, schedule, benefits, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, retirement plan, paid time off, incentive opportunities, and relocation assistance as applicable.] Primary Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic testing Develop and implement appropriate treatment and discharge plans Perform emergency medicine procedures within the scope of training, experience, and hospital privileges Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other members of the care team Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Support departmental quality, safety, and patient-experience initiatives Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current NCCPA certification Current or eligible for Physician Assistant licensure in New Hampshire Emergency medicine experience required Current BLS and ACLS certification Additional certifications such as PALS and ATLS preferred or required based on hospital credentialing standards Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Department Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient-care skills Discover Nashua, New Hampshire Located near the Massachusetts border, Nashua offers an appealing combination of New England character, city conveniences, and access to year-round recreation.
