A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

- We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant
- Neurosurgery for a combo day/night shift role.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate inpatient consults and round on hospital patients at five area hospitals. Perform comprehensive history and physicals. Independently assess patients and order appropriate labs/tests/consults. Assist in surgical cases, as needed Collaborate effectively with the attending physician and PA team, fostering a team-oriented environment. Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. Continually seek opportunities for professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurosurgery.Qualifications:
Master's of Science in Physician Assistant studies Must possess a New Jersey DEA license and New Jersey CDS license. Must have ACLS and BLS certifications. Board Certification is required. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Strong commitment to patient care, with a passion for improving patient outcomes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Demonstrated ability to independently assess patients and order appropriate labs/tests/consults. Must be willing to continually learn and improve, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurosurgery.
