General Surgery Nurse Practitioner (First Assist) or Physician Assistant Arnot Health | Elmira, New York Arnot Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with First Assist certification or a Physician Assistant to join our growing and collaborative General Surgery team in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside skilled surgeons in a well-established practice, providing comprehensive surgical care. Position Highlights Full-time employed opportunity with Arnot Health Join a collegial team of experienced General Surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers First assist in a variety of general surgery procedures Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care State-of-the-art facilities and supportive clinical staff Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Call rotation 1:6 Day shift 7:30am-3:30pm with a call coverage of 1-24-hour shift per week Qualifications Nurse Practitioner Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current New York State NP license or ability to obtain First Assist certification required Surgical experience preferred Physician Assistant Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certification required Current New York State PA license or ability to obtain Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary 130k-154k Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Generous paid time off CME allowance and paid CME time Retirement plan with employer contribution Malpractice insurance (Occurrence) About Arnot Health Arnot Health is an integrated healthcare system serving the Southern Tier of New York and the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania.
