A well-established, highly regarded outpatient practice on Long Island is growing its cardiology team. They're looking for a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You'll work side by side with the practice's cardiologists, backed by comprehensive in-house diagnostics including EKG, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. It's a supportive setting to build or sharpen your cardiovascular skills while giving patients consistent, high-quality care.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing hypertension and chronic cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease and heart rhythm disorders Reviewing and interpreting diagnostic results such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and nuclear stress tests Conducting thorough cardiovascular assessments for new and established patients Collaborating closely with the cardiology team on treatment plans and complex cases Seeing patients for follow-up visits and tracking their progress over time Handling medication management, including starting, adjusting, and monitoring cardiac therapies Educating patients on heart-healthy lifestyle changes, medications, and prevention

What You'll Bring:

Nurse Practitioners:

active NYS NP license with FNP-BC or AGNP-BC certification

Physician Assistants:

active NYS PA license and NCCPA certification DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain it New graduates welcome! Cardiology experience is a plus but not required. A genuine interest in cardiovascular medicine and long-term patient relationships Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-first mindset Flexibility on office location.
