A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Community Medical and Dental Care, is seeking an experienced Family, Pediatric, or Specialty, Nurse Practitioner. for a full-time or part-time position. Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with other members of the team to provide examination and treatment of patients. Perform assessment and treatment of acute injuries, infections, and illnesses. Prescribe and interpret appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities. Keep and maintain appropriate records relating to all professional services rendered. Prepare and review reports, claims, and correspondences. Ensure that records and documentation are in compliance with Federal and State regulations. Provide in-office and telemedicine services to patients. Prescribe medication and treatment for patients. Recommend appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for disease prevention and maintaining personal hygiene. Refer patients to other physicians or appropriate resources when needed. Follow up on all outside referrals, labs, and consults.
Qualifications:
Previous experience of at least 2 years as a PA Ability to establish a healthy rapport with patients and their families. Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to independently evaluate patients, establish differential diagnoses, order necessary tests/investigations as appropriate, and formulate treatment plans. Practice evidence-based medicine and update medical knowledge based on the latest treatment guidelines and recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
