EMERGENCY HOSPITAL
Pay Range:
$17.97 - $27.86 Care for our community, and your career. High school level of knowledge. Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant or EMT program preferred. BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire or transfer.
Licensing:
Proof of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from an approved institution or training program preferred. Unless otherwise indicated, one year of current experience within the last three years in a comparable job classification required Works effectively with others, possess tact, discretion and diplomacy Ability to work under stress and complete duties, sometimes with numerous interruptions. Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co- workers. Must be familiar with equipment used to move patients and take vital signs. Ability to understand printed health related material. Completion of hospital based Internship which includes coursework and clinical time up to 6 weeks along with proficiencies demonstrated in competencies for phlebotomy and EKG.
