A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Shift and Scheduling Obligations:
Clinic hours of operation are 8am
  • 8pm, seven days a week.
APP is scheduled for 12 hour shifts Will provide coverage at both the Sidney, Ohio and Minster, Ohio Urgent Care locations.

Wilson Health's Urgent Care provides treatment for patients of all ages for common illnesses and minor injuries. We offer onsite basic radiology services and stat reads. The Sidney Urgent Care is located on our hospital campus and is staffed with full-time clinical support and averages 20-25 visits per day. Epic EMR.
The Role You Will Contribute:
Wilson Health's APP's are focused on providing compassionate delivery of high-quality medical care to adults and children of all ages. You demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise treating patients in need of acute, non-emergent care, including but not limited to physical examinations, splinting, fracture care, communication/education for patients and families and appropriate use of diagnostic testing. Succeed:
Board Certification/Current State Licensure as a Physician Assistant Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Urgent Care practice or equivalent BLS Required
DOT FMCSA
Medical Examiner Certification required within 30 days of employment EOE (Equal Opportunity Employer)
