- September 8, 2026, at 0700 to September 18, 2026 (dates subject to adjustment based on current locum availability)
Ongoing Coverage Needs:
- Minimum 1-2 weeks per month through 2027
Schedule:
Weekdays:
- Monday to Friday, 0800-1700
Call Coverage:
- In-house and beeper/phone call from 1500 to 0700
Weekends:
- 24-hour on-site support; participation in floor call or OR call
Call Type:
- In-house and beeper
Call Ratio:
- Expected to cover during assigned shifts
Estimated Call Back Hours:
- Approximately 10 hours over weekends

Required Duties and Skills:
- Post-operative management for diverse cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients Emergency surgical intervention for cardiothoracic and vascular cases Consultation and referrals from Emergency Department, Cath Lab, and other hospital providers Competency in vein harvesting during cardiac procedures Participation in surgical assistance
- Prescription authority
- Care coordination
- Daily rounding
- Interpretation and ordering of diagnostic tests
- Retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit use

Shift Summary:

Friday:
0800-1700 with beeper call from 1500 to 0700; on weekends, provide 24-hour on-site coverage.Mandatory Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (REQUIRED)
- Active Ohio Medical License (NO new applications accepted)
- (REQUIRED) Current ACLS Certification (REQUIRED) Current DEA Registration (REQUIRED) Clean professional background with no malpractice or licensing issues (REQUIRED)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery
- (REQUIRED)
