Job Summary:
ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. 7 on 7 off 12-hour day shift schedule No call obligations Inpatient rounding with physicians on acute complex patients Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who has completed advanced education and clinical training beyond their initial registered nurse (RN) preparation. They play a vital role across ProMedica by providing a wide range of healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, long term disease management, and promoting health and wellness. NPs can work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, urgent care, long term care facilities, and private practices, and may specialize in areas like family medicine, pediatrics, or geriatrics. Provider Marketing Services Epic EMR Requirements:
Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants. Acute Care Certification required for Nurse Practitioners Master's degree for Physician Assistant applicants. State licensure(s) required in the state(s) where the Nurse Practitioner will work. Certificate of Authority to practice. Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification and certification(s) applicable to your role.
