POSITION SUMMARY
Educate and advise patients, diagnose and treat health problems, and provide general health care under the direction of Dr. David Kouba. This is a full-time position in our new office location in Van Wert County. The training for the role will take approximately 6 months and be done in our Defiance, OH office location. Training will take place 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Example of Essential Duties:
    Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis:
    Perform full body skin exams (FBSEs) and diagnose various skin conditions.
      Treatment Planning and Implementation:
      Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and administer treatments for skin conditions.
        Procedures:
        Perform biopsies (shave and punch), cryotherapy, and other minor surgical procedures.
          Patient Education:
          Educate patients on proper skincare, sun protection, and preventative measures.
            Documentation:
            Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
              Collaboration:
              Work collaboratively with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest level of care to patients Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):
              • Other treatments and/or procedures after consulting with or under the supervision of the physician.
              • Other duties as assigned.
              Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
              Required:
              • Active Physician Assistant License from the Ohio State Medical Board
              • Knowledge of Physician Assistant theory, practice and medical care, medical equipment and instruments, and OSHA regulations.
              • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
              • Ability to analyze and determine solutions in order to best serve the patients.
              • Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame
              • Current BLS certification required
              Education:
              • Active Physician Assistant licensure in the
              State of Ohio Working Conditions:
