Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our growing healthcare team at a new location. The ideal candidate will have experience working in medical settings, including private practice offices. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment and positive health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough health assessments and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Provide health education and disease management guidance to patients and families. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and medical imaging as appropriate. Accurately document patient encounters using proper medical terminology. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient services.
Qualifications:
Current Physician Assistant license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of patient care strategies and health coaching techniques. Familiarity with medical imaging processes and terminology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment. New graduates are welcome to apply. Comprehensive training is provided, and prior neurology experience is not required. Candidates with experience in other specialties who are interested in transitioning into neurology are encouraged to apply.
