A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Summit Health is seeking a Urology PA who would like the opportunity to expand a thriving practice within a financially secure, physician-driven, multispecialty setting. Summit Health's Urology Department is seeking a PA (prior experience with urologic oncology ideal but not required) who is passionate about providing urologic care. The position includes independent clinic work in Bend and Redmond, hospital rounding on urology consults as well as post operative patients and assisting our 5 urology MD's in the OR with open, laparoscopic and robotic assisted procedures.
