A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Founded in 2011, and with roots going back to 1999, Oregon Occupational Medicine is a privately-owned practice with clinics in Hillsboro, Clackamas and Tualatin, Oregon. We take pride in the quality and importance of our work in the community and hope you will too. We are a full-service Occupational Medicine Clinic that partners with local employers to keep their employees healthy and return them to wellness when injury or illness occurs. In addition to injury related care we provide a wide variety of other work-related, medical and screening services. We are currently seeking a part time time Physician Assistant (24 hours a week) to join our practice in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for an Oregon licensed Physician Assistant who is professional, efficient and driven to provide excellent care while considering the dynamic nature of occupational medicine. Experience in an Occupational Medicine setting preferred. However, Internal Medicine, Family Practice and Emergency Medicine experience with an interest in practicing and/or learning occupational medicine will be considered.
