A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Requirements Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Active Oregon license. Active DEA registration. Current BLS certification. AONCP Certification Required. Previous Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred.

Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a Hospital in beautiful Seaside, Oregon. This position offers the chance to join a collaborative cancer care team while providing high-quality outpatient oncology services in a newly renovated clinic. Practice Highlights Newly renovated oncology clinic.

Oncologist Infusion Nurses Oncology Nurse Navigator Medical Assistants Oncology Dietitian Social Worker Scheduling Team Oncology Palliative Care Team Access to the extensive resources and expertise of the Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon.
