Job Description

Department:
Emergency Department. Cross credentialed between all hospital campuses (AHN Beaver and AHN Sewickley)
Work Hours:
Full time, Rotating shifts. The Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant is a professional with advanced education and training in the primary and emergency care of newborn to geriatric populations. The physician assistant is responsible for providing primary care to Emergency Department patients under the direct medical supervision of the Emergency Department physician, indirectly under the supervision of the Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner Coordinator, and ultimately reports to the Medical Director.
Requirements:
Nationally certified and/or State licensed to provide care as a physician assistant. BLS certification. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred:
At least one year of direct emergency patient care experience.
ACLS & PALS
