Provide advanced clinical support for urgent cardiothoracic surgeries Support staffing for 3 weekends per month with 24-hour call coverage Perform patient rounding, assist in vein harvesting, and support post-operative care Support ICU to home transfers for stable patients following surgeries Collaborate with surgeons, APPs, and hospital staff in a fast-paced environment Document patient care activities accurately usingEPIC EMR
What You Need:
PA license in Pennsylvania DEA certification Minimum 3 years of cardiothoracic surgery or acute care experience Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support Strong teamwork and communication skills About theAssignment:
This assignment is at a reputable hospital with 163 beds, specializing in urgent cardiac surgeries, from cath lab procedures to post-surgery recovery. Practice includes support of complex vein harvesting and emergency procedures, with a dedicated team ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The environment is fast-paced, requiring experienced providers comfortable with high-acuity cases and collaborative care.
