POSITION DESCRIPTION
Seton Hill University Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics invites applications for a full-time, Clinician-Educator track at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Academic rank will be commensurate with credentials and experience. Responsibilities are mainly, but may also include research, administrative duties, and service. All duties are at the graduate level since there is no pre-doctoral program.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Teaching and advising (didactic and clinical supervision of residents) Scholarship and Professional Activities Service to the University
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Dental degree DMD/DDS Completed post-graduate education in orthodontics from an
ADA CODA
graduate program Possess, or be eligible to obtain dental license in the State of Pennsylvania before hire (Pennsylvania does not offer a restricted temporary faculty license for our program)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
ABO certification Master's degree Experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice Required applicant materials include letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and the names and contact information of three references.
