  • SUMMARY OF POSITION
  • Responsible for partnering with the Nurse Manager to assure department operations are carried out.
Additional responsibilities include management and development of the unit, including, but not limited to, interviewing, hiring, and supervision of staff, assisting with developing and monitoring of budget, policies and procedures, both new employee orientation and ongoing education of staff, and management of quality improvement programs.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
    (S):
  • + Associate's degree in Nursing + Three (3) years of related experience + Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact. + AHA BLS required prior to orientation completion + ACLS required prior to orientation completion + PALS required prior to orientation completion
