  • SUMMARY OF POSITION
  • Responsible for the provision of direct patient care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Duties include direct patient care as well as indirect patient services such as documentation, ordering, family training, rounds, and interaction with the interdisciplinary team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
(S): + High school education or GED equivalent. + Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program. + Entry level physical therapist assistant knowledge and experience in rehabilitation, orthopedic, medical/surgical within the last five years. + Current CPR Certification + AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) - required prior to the end of the orientation period
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
(S): + State PT Association and American PT Association affiliate memberships.
