Physician Assistant (PA) - Cardiothoracic Surgery Weekend Call Coverage | Ongoing Locum Opportunity Join an established surgical team for a rewarding cardiothoracic surgery locum assignment with a predictable weekend-only schedule. This opportunity offers a blend of surgical support, inpatient rounding, and call coverage while maintaining flexibility during the week. Position Highlights Weekend-only coverage Ongoing assignment with consistent scheduling needs 24-hour call model with additional compensation for callback hours Work alongside an experienced cardiothoracic surgery team Adult patient population Epic EMR Clinical Responsibilities Cardiothoracic surgery call coverage Inpatient rounding and patient management Surgical first assist duties as needed Vein harvesting Evaluation and management of urgent cardiac surgery patients Schedule Friday evening through Monday morning Approximately 3 weekends per month Average of 4 active callback hours per day Requirements Active Physician Assistant license DEA required Minimum 3 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience Vein harvesting experience preferred Strong inpatient and surgical management skills Why Consider This Opportunity?
