Are you living your life's work? LG Health Physicians Family Medicine New Holland is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. As part of a highly productive team, consisting of six physicians and two APPs, delivery of comprehensive, quality care for patients of all ages is our specialty. We serve patients across the socioeconomic spectrum with a wide range of backgrounds including the Amish and Mennonite communities. There are many opportunities for procedures, care of complex patients, and care of patients across the lifespan. The provider team meets monthly to discuss practice improvement and clinical care. This practice has been a cornerstone of the community for decades, and there is a long tradition of acute and chronic care here. Family Medicine New Holland is equipped with a lab, x-ray, procedure room and point of care ultrasound. There are opportunities for treatment of addiction, women's health issues, acute care, and many other areas, and we would work with any candidate to meet their preferred scope of practice. The practice is supported by a collaborative care team consisting of RNs, pharmacists, social workers, and community health workers.
Hours:
Fulltime with flexible scheduling, typically eight 4-hour sessions weekly and one 3-hour evening session. There is occasional telephone call (1-2 nights a month) and typically 1 Saturday morning session every 8 weeks. Includes Holiday rotation.
Position Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner
  • Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania
  • Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty (FNP required)
  • Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum one-year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred. Physician Assistant
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine
  • Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program
  • Minimum one-year experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred Why Penn Medicine?
