Job Description

About Us We are an emerging wellness and aesthetics practice in an exciting growth phase. Our mission is to deliver exceptional client experiences while building a trusted brand known for personalized care, clinical excellence, and meaningful results. We are seeking a Physician Assistant ("PA") that provides direct patient care within the scope of a medical aesthetic practice, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and other clinical services. This role is focused exclusively on clinical functions and requires a licensed medical provider to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. The PA reports to and practices under the supervision of the Medical Director, in accordance with Pennsylvania law and applicable supervisory requirements. All non-clinical, administrative, operational, or management tasks are handled by separate personnel and are not part of this clinical position.
Position Summary:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Employees in this classification are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state law. The PA is expected to be onsite and available during scheduled clinical hours to provide patient care, support clinical workflow, and respond to patient needs as they arise. The PA may also be required to be onsite outside of standard clinical hours when necessary to meet patient needs or ensure continuity of care. The standard schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, work hours may vary based on operational needs, community events, networking opportunities, marketing initiatives, and business development activities. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support events, partnerships, patient acquisition efforts, and other growth-related initiatives.
Core Position Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient evaluations to determine clinical appropriateness, develop individualized treatment plans, and ensure appropriate pre- and post-care education. Perform injectable treatments, laser procedures, and other medical aesthetic services within the PA's scope of practice and in accordance with approved clinical protocols. Deliver medical-grade skin treatments and procedures appropriate to training, licensure, and supervisory requirements. Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation for all encounters and procedures. Participate in ongoing training to maintain competency in current and emerging medical aesthetic techniques and technologies. Monitor patient responses during and after procedures to ensure safety and appropriate clinical outcomes. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment consistent with medical practice standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania Physician Assistant (PA) license. Compliance with all physician supervision or collaboration requirements mandated by Pennsylvania law. Demonstrated experience performing cosmetic injections, laser procedures, and aesthetic medical treatments in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting. Demonstrated ability to assess patient suitability for aesthetic treatments and make sound clinical decisions. Strong understanding of facial anatomy, injection techniques, laser physics/safety, and advanced aesthetic treatment modalities. Exceptional patient communication skills, including the ability to explain procedures, risks, and outcomes clearly and compassionately.
