Job Description
Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) Orthopedics & Orthopedic Trauma UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant/PA or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner/CRNP) to join our Orthopedics and Orthopedic Trauma team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across clinic, surgical, and inpatient settings while working in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact supporting patients through the full continuum of orthopedic care-from evaluation and surgical intervention to recovery. What You'll Do + Provide comprehensive orthopedic care across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings + Evaluate, diagnose, and manage musculoskeletal conditions and injuries + Assist in the operating room and support perioperative care + Conduct inpatient rounding and manage post-operative patients + Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and interdisciplinary teams + Educate patients on treatment plans, recovery, and injury prevention + Knowledge of growth and development principles + Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan + Ability to assess patient data and deliver care per departmental policies + Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment + Physical stamina and dexterity required for direct patient care + Successful attainment and maintenance of hospital privileges, where applicable.Licensure, Education, Certifications, and Clearances:
