This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of primary care services. You will work alongside a collaborative team with strong clinical and operational support, allowing you to focus on patient care while leveraging modern care models and technology. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan See approximately 16-20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate care and improve outcomes Practice in collaboration with supervising physicians in accordance with Rhode Island regulations, including consultation and referral as appropriate Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional) Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available) Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment Who You Are Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (required) Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) (required) Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island (required) Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain (required) Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain (required) Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care (required) Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions Excellent communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)
