Overview Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA-C) Full-Time | Landmark Medical Center | Woonsocket, Rhode Island Join a Growing Gastroenterology Team Landmark Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our expanding GI practice. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work alongside experienced gastroenterologists in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing comprehensive digestive health care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Perform hospital consultations and follow-up care Review diagnostic studies, laboratory results, and imaging reports Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventive care Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists Document encounters accurately within the electronic medical record system Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current or eligible Rhode Island PA licensure NCCPA certification required Previous Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, or related clinical experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Pay Transparency Landmark Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $115,000 to $130,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
