Works in concert with an orthopedist, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations.

Clinic hours:
9 am- 3:30 pm, Mon
- Sun; rounds required prior to clinic 1 weeknight call and 1 weekend day call per week Avg 5
- 10 hospital patients per mid-level per day; 1
- 2 admissions 6
- 12 surgeries per day; 50% trauma, 50% hospital-based cases ICU patients included
- 100% adult population EVD placement, lumbar drain, lumbar puncture, ICP monitor placement required Suturing, diagnostic/therapeutic taps, and surgical care of complex wounds ATLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required We provide complimentary housing and travel We arrange and cover costs for licensing and malpractice We simplify the credentialing and privileging process Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(K) plan Your personal recruiter handles every detail, 24/7 CompHealth
