Our practice is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our group. You would be able to step into an established patient panel that can be tailored to your likings. You would be required to conduct physical examinations of patients, diagnose and treat patients. You will be able to establish long term and meaningful relationships while getting to see acute illness and injury. Experience in the health care field, especially in a Family Medicine background is preferred but not required. New graduates with any healthcare experience are encouraged to apply. Pediatric experience is not required but you would have the option of seeing children, adolescents, and teens or only adults. While we work independently you will never be without support and ability to collaborate. Team work, good communication and a desire to succeed required. Responsibilities Care for their own patient panel Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Prescribe medications Order diagnostic tests and labs Documenting patient encounters accurately and in timely fashion Properly inform and educate patients on their medical conditions Maintain professional work environment Maintain license and be in good standing with all regulatory boards Skills Prior PA experience preferred but not required Expertise in Family Medicine care settings both acute and chronic Excellent communication Understanding of current healthcare practices and regulations Easygoing personality Desire to further patient knowledge while keeping up to date with advances in healthcare Valid PA license
