Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated FNP and/ or PAs in Pine Ridge, South Dakota with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.

Duties:

Provide diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic services for eligible patients, including management of common acute illness/injury and chronic disease in a rural setting, consistent with privileges and standing orders Provide well-woman care and related as within scope and granted privileges. Perform minor procedures commonly associated with outpatient/urgent care practice (e.g., simple laceration repair, splinting/casting, minor injury management) consistent with privileges. Provide patient education and counseling regarding risk reduction, diet, exercise, and medication adherence. Provide emergency or crisis intervention to stabilize patients for transport; coordinate with EMS/ED and higher-level facilities when transfer is indicated and feasible. Provide services at outpatient clinics and designated outreach venues as scheduled/authorized. Document all encounters and interpretations thoroughly and accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, in accordance with Client documentation standards.

Job Requirements:

Active, current unrestricted FNP or PA-C License

• Any state license accepted Maintain current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or in Adult/Family Medicine appropriate to the scope of service Not be excluded, debarred, or sanctioned from participation in Medicare/Medicaid or other Federal health care programs. Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience in the past 3 years BLS
• American Heart Association
• American Heart ACLS
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
