In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive orthopedic patient care, assist in surgical procedures, and collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Your expertise will help ensure efficient clinical workflows, accurate diagnoses, and effective treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to excellence in orthopedic care. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to evaluate musculoskeletal health and determine appropriate interventions. Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures, including preoperative planning and postoperative care, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Manage acute pain and perform injections such as corticosteroids or Botulinum toxin treatments for muscle spasticity or pain relief. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating medical management, physical therapy, and surgical options. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system for documentation, data collection, and medical records management while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Triage orthopedic emergencies and urgent cases in outpatient or inpatient settings, ensuring timely intervention. Prescribe medications within scope of practice, adhering to DEA regulations and CPT coding standards for billing purposes. Skills Experience with EMR/EHR systems like for documentation and data management. Proficiency in performing injections. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, diagnostic evaluation, and interpretation of diagnostic tests including radiology images. Skilled in medical-surgical procedures, wound care, casting/splinting suturing. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across specialties. Knowledge of
ICD-10/ICD-9
