This full-time faculty position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or medical science professional to contribute to the education and development of future physician assistants. The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver curriculum content for the PA program while also participating in program operations and activities required by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Key Responsibilities The Principal Faculty member will: Deliver high-quality curriculum content within the Physician Assistant Program Contribute expertise in basic medical science curriculum areas Participate in PA program operations and activities required for accreditation Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and program leadership Support the academic mission and goals of the Physician Assistant Program Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability within a team-oriented academic environment Utilize learning management systems and other academic technology to support instruction Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidates must have: A doctoral degree in a medical science , such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology, or an equivalent discipline Current expertise in one or more basic science content areas relevant to the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) curriculum Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team Ability to adapt to change Excellent oral, written, organizational, and computer skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience or familiarity with academic learning management systems such as Canvas or Blackboard Preferred Qualifications Preference may be given to candidates with: Teaching experience in classroom and clinical settings Teaching experience within an institution of higher education Evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly activity Why Join LMU?
