PA, Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery Christus Health - 3.7 Beaumont, TX Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Benefits 403(b) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 403(b) Qualifications Physician Assistant License PA-C Full Job Description Description Job Summary We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing Neurosurgery team in Beaumont, TX . This position offers a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and hospital consult responsibilities . The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have prior surgical, neurosurgical, or inpatient experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding neurosurgery practice with strong patient demand and long-term growth potential. Key Responsibilities Conduct outpatient clinic visits, including new patient evaluations and follow-up appointments Perform post-operative patient management and follow-up care Round on hospitalized neurosurgical patients Evaluate and manage inpatient consults Order and interpret diagnostic studies, labs, and imaging Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR Qualifications Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant NCCPA certification Previous neurosurgery, surgery, orthopedic, spine, or inpatient experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team Schedule & Compensation Primarily Monday-Friday schedule Typical clinic hours approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
