Frontier Sleep is a leading healthcare provider specializing in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. Our mission is to enhance patient well-being through advanced treatments and compassionate care. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team and contribute to our pioneering work in sleep medicine.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with attending physicians to provide clinical direction and leadership in the assessment and treatment of sleep-related conditions. Conduct comprehensive sleep consultations and follow-up visits via telemedicine and in person. Recommend and authorize prescriptions for appropriate sleep therapy. Must be open to all treatment modalities and options. Manage therapy compliance and follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Work closely with physicians to improve clinical performance, patient satisfaction, and overall service quality. Participate in quality assurance activities, including chart reviews and peer reviews. Engage in performance improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the quality of patient care.
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies preferred. Current PA-C certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas, with willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as needed. Current CPR certification. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams. Commitment to professional development through continuing education, research, or specialty certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in sleep medicine or a strong interest in specializing in this field.
