What they do
A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Qualified candidates: Certification as a Physician Assistant Ability to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license New grad's will be considered- but must have strong neurosurgery experience or passion for neurosurgery. Must be people-oriented and willing to learn Monday
- Friday, 7:00 am
- 4:30 pm Responsibilities include: rounding on patients & seeing consults in the hospital, first assisting in the operating room, and seeing new/established/post-operative patients on clinic days
