A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description
Job Overview:
- As a Mid-Level provider at Wheatland IMC, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care After hour calls rotation with Physician and other midlevels.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited program Minimum 1 year experience in Primary Care setting preferred Current state licensure Certification PA-C Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care Experience preferred, but great opportunity for fresh graduate to get experience Salary based on experience Wheatland IMC offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
