A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Requirements:

Graduated from ARC-PA accredited program NCCPA certification DEA Registration Physician Assist License Master's degree (required) preferred in Physician Assistant Studies 3+ years' experience of clinical practice Skills preferred: Behavioral health screening (PHQ-9, GAD-7) Medication-assisted treatment awareness (psych/behavioral) Prenatal & women's health assessments (OB/GYN) Pediatric growth & development monitoring Neurological assessments Preventive care & screenings Prescribing medications Pharmacology knowledge Medication management Controlled substance protocols (DEA awareness) Are you ready for the next level? by clicking the "Easy Apply" button.
