Job Description

Our Farmer's Branch, TX Hub is currently seeking a Full-Time OTR Team Delivery Driver to join our team! BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.
Shift:
Saturday
  • Wednesday and also additional days on Thursday & Friday work out of state
OTR. CDL B & DOT
Card Required. Will maintain DOT hours of service. Must be flexible with shift.
  • This is an OTR Team Driving position
  • 24' CDL B Sleeper Truck
  • Must be willing to fly to multiple states for training in the first 60 days
  • Home location is the Farmers Branch, TX Hub
  • All Scheduled shift jobs are TBD based on the needs of the business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Team Driving On the Road (OTR) / out of state with overnights in truck with a sleeper. Ensuring safe, efficient and timely delivery of assigned routes and following time schedules Comply with DOT regulations
  • Familiar with E Logs and DOT regulations or willing to learn to use E Logs Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, inspect vehicle for mechanical and safety concerns, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to dispatch/ managers Physical Requirements & Working Conditions While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting. Extended periods of sitting. Minimum Requirements and Employee Expectations Must be at least 21+ years of age Valid Class B CDL driver's license & a current DOT Medical Certification Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes). Two or less 'Moving Violations' in the past 3 years. Zero instances of 'DWI/DUI' in the past 5 years One (1+) year commercial driving & OTR experience, but will accept applications with less experience right out of CDL Schools Background Check Required Basic computer, tablet and/or smartphone skills and GPS and other routing systems
  • CDL Drivers must register with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse if you have not already done so.
