A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician Complete patient histories and physicals Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests Counsel patient and family on health and disease Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations Participate in some weekend hospital call as part of the shared call rotation Be eligible for a monthly encounter‑based bonus , offering additional earning potential Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
State Licensed Physician Assistant Gastrointestinal experience preferred but not required (will provide training) Bilingual preferred

$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
