Pay can be structured on a per shift basis too. We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join a well-respected critical access hospital working a 48 hour shift (2) days but can extend to 2.5 days per week or (60 hours) per week. The schedule can be negotiable and the facility has a sleep room. Candidate's must have experience in Emergency Medicine. The Provider would work independently and will be the Primary Provider for all admissions. The Provider must feel comfortable working in a "True ER" critical access setting, with low admits but high acuity. The provider would have collaboratve physician support for any trauma cases which are stabilized and sent to Lubbock. The compensation package is negotiable bases on experience and can be carved out to a per shift basis. (New Grads with Strong ER RN or EMT Experience Considered). Full benefits package including Medical Dental and 401K, CME, CME Allowance and all dues, fees and licensure paid for as well. ATLS is required within the first year of employment, but will be paid for by the facility. Additionally, the Provider would be able to apply for loan repayment through either the NHSC and Nursing Corp for 2025 funding. The Provider would be eligible to receive up to $25,000 per year directly to the candidates Federally qualified student loans (two-year commitment required) or up to 60% of their loans paid though the Nursing Corp program. This requires a separate application as it is a Federally sponsored program.
