$125,000 - $130,000 per year (commensurate with experience) ​ About Our Practice ​Anchor Bone and Joint is an established, physician-owned private orthopedic surgery practice serving the Greater South Houston community (Pearland, Pasadena, and Clear Lake area). Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered musculoskeletal care in both outpatient clinic settings and surgical suites. We are seeking a skilled, dedicated, and experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing clinical team. ​ Key Responsibilities ​
Surgical First Assist:
Assist supervising orthopedic surgeon in intraoperative care, including positioning, tissue retraction, suturing, and post-op wound closure.​
Outpatient Clinic:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat subacute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, fractures, and sports injuries in an office setting. ​
Perioperative Care:
Conduct pre-operative history and physical examinations and manage post-operative hospital rounds.​
Patient Education:
Counsel patients on surgical options, recovery expectations, rehabilitation protocols, and conservative treatment plans.​
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and
CPT/ICD-10
coding within the EHR systems. ​ Qualifications & Requirements ​
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Master's degree).​
Licensure & Certification:
​ Active Texas Physician Assistant (PA) license (or eligible to obtain prior to start).​ Active NCCPA Certification (PA-C).​ Texas Prescriptive Authority and active DEA license.​ ​Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience:
