Job description: Bluebonnet Family Psychiatry is a growing, physician-led outpatient psychiatric practice seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing practice on a part-time basis. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position and an in-person position only at our clinic in The Woodlands, Texas. Part-time 1099 independent contractor position Collaborative, supportive work environment Administrative support so you can focus on patient care Competitive hourly compensation Responsibilities Provide psychiatric medication management and conservative titration Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Manage a self-selected weekly caseload of in-person and/or telehealth appointments Document patient notes promptly using Simple Practice EMR Collaborate with Dr. Danwar and care team on complex cases Contribute to clinical content and patient education materials as needed Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current Texas Physician Assistant License (or eligible before start date) NCCPA Certification (PA-C) Eligible for DEA registration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available) Preferred Experience in Psychiatry or Behavioral Health Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care with a strong interest in Psychiatry Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Current Texas Physician Assistant License (or eligible before start date) NCCPA Certification (PA-C) Eligible for DEA registration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available) Why Join Bluebonnet Family Psychiatry?
