Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Provide care to patients in ICU, pre- and post-cardiac surgical units Manage patients coming off ventilators and support recovery after open-heart, VATS, and lung surgeries Assist with rounding and patient management in ICU settings Support intraoperative procedures, with an emphasis on vein harvesting (preferred experience) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Document patient care accurately and efficiently in compliance with hospital protocolsWhat You Need:
Valid Physician Assistant license in Texas At least 1 year of ICU and OR experience, preferably in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to cover last-minute shifts with short notice About theAssignment:
