Waxahachie Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00PM Patient Volume:
Approximately 16-17 patients per day Position Overview Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our outpatient cardiology team serving Waxahachie, TX . This role focuses on general cardiology in a clinic-based setting and offers a predictable weekday schedule with minimal weekend responsibility. New graduates are welcome to apply , though prior cardiology experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Provide outpatient care for general cardiology patients Perform patient evaluations, follow-ups, and ongoing disease management Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams Order and interpret diagnostic tests Document care plans and coordinate patient services Participate in infrequent weekend rounding rotation Schedule & Call Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM No call requirements for APPs Weekend rounding approximately one weekend every 2-3 months Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certified or eligible Licensed or eligible for PA licensure in Texas Cardiology experience strongly preferred Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills Why Baylor Scott & White Health Consistent weekday schedule Collaborative, physician-led cardiology practice Opportunity to build cardiology expertise in an outpatient setting Exposure to diverse patient populations across two locations Commitment to quality outcomes and patient-centered careBENEFITS

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
