OB Hospitalist Physician Location:
Waxahachie, TX Compensation :
$175 per hour Full-Time We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join a well-established OB Hospitalist program in Waxahachie, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality obstetrical care in a collaborative, team-based hospital environment. Position Overview As an OB Hospitalist, you will be an integral part of the Labor and Delivery team, focused on patient safety, clinical excellence, and supporting community providers. This role emphasizes emergency readiness, high-risk obstetrical care, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration. Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care Deliver care to high-risk obstetric patients, with Maternal Fetal Medicine support available via phone or teleconsult as needed Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds Serve as a safety leader on Labor and Delivery to ensure optimal patient outcomes Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and coverage when requested and available Provide contraceptive services where applicable Schedule Primarily 24-hour shifts Some 12-hour or mixed shift options Full-time clinicians typically work 5 9 (24-hour) shifts per 28-day block Benefits eligibility begins with a commitment of 5 shifts per 28-day block Compensation and Benefits $175 per hour Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) with profit share contribution and Roth option Malpractice coverage with unlimited tail (lifetime coverage) $2,000 annual CME stipend Coverage for
