Job Description

Compensation:
$90,000-$120,000 base salary + uncapped productivity incentive Alpine Centers is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our established behavioral health and medical services team in Taylorsville, Utah. This is a clinical provider position focused primarily on psychiatric care, medication management, patient evaluation, treatment planning, and continuity of care. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with Alpine's Medical Director, clinical team, and administrative staff to provide high-quality, accessible care to our patients. Alpine offers a unique full-time structure with a minimum regular schedule of 32 hours per week , a competitive guaranteed salary, benefits, and the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on individual clinical productivity. Compensation & Benefits $90,000 to $120,000 annual base salary (Depending on Experience) Uncapped productivity incentive Minimum regular commitment of 32 hours per week 80 hours of paid time off annually Employer healthcare contribution of up to $500 per month Up to $1,500 annually toward eligible professional expenses, including: CME Utah PA licensing/renewal DEA registration Professional certification Malpractice/liability insurance Other approved professional development expenses Annual compensation and performance review Productivity Incentive In addition to the guaranteed salary, the provider is eligible for an uncapped productivity incentive based on personally generated professional collections . Following an initial 90-day ramp period, the provider may earn: 10% of eligible net professional collections above an annualized $550,000 productivity threshold.
For example:
$650,000 in eligible collections = $10,000 productivity bonus $800,000 in eligible collections = $25,000 productivity bonus There is no annual maximum on the productivity incentive.
Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include:
Psychiatric and medical evaluations Medication management Prescribing within authorized scope of practice Treatment planning Patient follow-up Prescription refills and medication-related communications Clinical documentation Prior authorizations Coordination of patient care Participation in clinical meetings Compliance with payer documentation and medical-necessity requirements Maintaining timely and accurate patient records Other professional clinical duties appropriate to the Physician Assistant role Schedule This is a full-time salaried position with a minimum regular commitment of 32 hours per workweek . The specific schedule will be established based on patient-care needs, appointment demand, clinical coverage, and Alpine's operational requirements. Because this is a healthcare provider position, the PA is expected to reasonably address time-sensitive clinical responsibilities such as documentation, prescription matters, patient or pharmacy communications, prior authorizations, and continuity-of-care needs. Qualifications Candidates must be able to maintain all qualifications necessary to practice as a Physician Assistant in Utah, including, as applicable: Active and unrestricted Utah Physician Assistant license Appropriate prescribing authority DEA registration where required Required professional certifications Required continuing education Eligibility for commercial and government payer credentialing Eligibility to participate in applicable government healthcare programs Ability to satisfy background and healthcare exclusion screening requirements Strong clinical documentation and compliance practices Commitment to HIPAA, patient confidentiality, professional conduct, and quality patient care About Alpine Centers Alpine Centers provides behavioral health, psychiatric, and medical services to individuals throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
