Summary We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in Chesapeake. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting in the management of patients with complex pulmonary conditions, and contributing to our mission of improving patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans. Assist physicians in managing critically ill patients in the hospital setting. Perform procedures such as suturing and airway management as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient information accurately in EMR systems. Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance treatment protocols. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options. Stay current with advancements in pulmonary medicine and critical care. Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Strong background in critical care medicine or related field. Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Experience with telehealth services is a plus. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
