Location:
Fairfax, VA Prima Medicine is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding team. This role is combining general wellness, primary care, and specialized women's health services, with a dedicated emphasis on comprehensive gynecology services, menopause care and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). As part of a collaborative clinical team, you will play a key role in expanding our specialized services while providing personalized, high-quality care to our vibrant community. About theOpportunity:
Scope of Practice:
Adolescent to adult females and individuals seeking gynecological and menopausal care, alongside general primary care and adult population demographics.Procedures:
Routine well-woman exams, Pap smears, contraceptive counseling, IUD insertions/removals, Nexplanon insertions/removals, and hormone replacement therapy management.Scheduling and Support:
Full-Time and Part-Time hours available, robust support provided by dedicated MAs (1:1 ratio) and a Nurse Manager managing complex callbacks and chronic care care management, with no burdensome call expectations.Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate women's health experience required. Prior experience in menopause management or HRT is a plus, but not required.Certification:
State licensure and board certification is required. Willingness to pursue NAMS (The Menopause Society) certification required (fully funded by the practice). Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations. Must love building relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skillsCompensation and Benefits:
