This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative, high-performing environment focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care across the surgical continuum: pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients.
Schedule & Setting Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Call:
1:2 rotation
Practice Setting:
Hospital-based and outpatient
Patient Population:
Adults (18+), mix of inpatient and outpatient
Average Caseload:
Outpatient:
1-5 patients/day
Inpatient:
5-10 patients/day
EMR:
Epic Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery as a PA. Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting and OR/ICU procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families and staff. Current NCCPA certification and Virginia PA license (or eligibility). Compensation & Benefits Competitive guaranteed base salary (no productivity factor).
