We are seeking a dedicated Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 120-day assignment in Virginia, commencing on Oct 5, 2026. This role involves comprehensive inpatient and outpatient coverage, with a primary focus on advanced heart failure, heart transplant evaluations and follow-up, and management of LVAD patients. The successful candidate will provide essential support in a dynamic clinical environment, ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities and Duties New patient evaluations and follow-up visits Medication management and titration Review labs, ECGs, echocardiograms, and biopsy results Coordinate multidisciplinary transplant care Hospital admissions/discharges (inpatient) Patient education Manage advanced heart failure Conduct heart transplant evaluations and follow-up Provide post-heart transplant management Care for LVAD patients Treat cardiomyopathy Manage pulmonary hypertension Monitor cardiac transplant rejection Manage immunosuppressive medications Additional Information Board Certification in Cardiology is required.
